Music production with Ecilo
About the Programme
Learn the fundamentals of music production while developing your own creative process. Together with Ecilo you'll explore techniques, experiment with new ideas and gradually build confidence in your own workflow.
Throughout the programme you'll work on your own music while receiving personal guidance and practical feedback from Ecilo. Every session combines technical knowledge with hands-on exercises, giving you the opportunity to experiment, ask questions and continuously develop your skills.
Whether you're taking your first steps into music production or looking to strengthen your foundation, this programme offers a supportive environment to learn, create and grow alongside a small group of fellow producers.

Meet the teacher
Ecilo is an Indonesian electronic music producer, live performer and educator based in Jakarta. Since beginning his journey in electronic music in 2008, he has developed a distinctive artistic voice shaped by techno, house, jazz, soul and cinematic sound design. His work is driven by curiosity, experimentation and a constant desire to push creative boundaries.
Over the years, Ecilo has released music on internationally respected labels including AXIS Records, ARTS, Planet Rhythm, Olympian and We Are The Brave. His debut album UnCovert was released on Jeff Mills' label AXIS, while his productions have received support from artists including Ben Sims, Alan Fitzpatrick and Dave Clarke.
Alongside his work in the studio, he has performed throughout Asia and Europe, appearing at clubs, festivals and educational programmes while continuing to mentor aspiring producers in Indonesia. His approach combines technical knowledge with creative exploration, encouraging participants to understand not only how things work, but why they work.
While Ecilo's home base is Jakarta, his work regularly takes him across Asia and Europe. This six-week program offers a unique opportunity to learn directly from him during his time in Amsterdam, gaining insight into the creative process, techniques and mindset behind his work in a way that isn't possible through a single workshop or masterclass.
