We offer practice-based trainings, workshops, and tailored advice for freelancers and in-house teams in the event industry. We focus on building sustainable careers by combining hands-on knowledge, personal guidance, and a strong community.
From stage management training to community events at our Tiny Studio SPOT, we provide the tools and network you need to take your next step behind the scenes.
Tiny Studio SPOT is the community hub powered by Gain Momentum. The place where it all began!
In Amsterdam West we’ve created a two-floor playground: a cozy community space (35 pax) downstairs for drinks, talks, and gatherings and a fully sound-proof DJ studio (2 pax) upstairs for mixing and recording on professional DJ-gear. From listening sessions and workshops to markets. Tiny Studio SPOT is where creatives meet, connect, and keep the nightlife spirit alive.
EDUCATION
Our trainings are built through human-centered research, using methods such as Design Thinking, the Golden Circle, and the Double Diamond to guide the process. We work closely with field experts from different roles to design curricula that offer multiple perspectives. This way, you not only learn your responsibilities and tasks, but also how to position yourself effectively among colleagues.
Our trainings are continuously evolving, adapting to new insights and developments within the work field to stay relevant and impactful.
Our trainings are designed for anyone serious about their role in the event industry. If the training topic fits your interests or responsibilities, you’re welcome to join. We expect participants to have some basic understanding of events—but don’t worry if you don’t know everything yet, we’re here to support your growth.
The cost of a training depends on several factors, such as research, trainers, logistics, and the food and drinks provided. Because each training has a different mix of these elements, prices may vary.
If budget is a concern, we’re here to help. Simply reach out and share your situation, we’ll be happy to explore a solution so you can still access the training you desire.
By completing the training, you’ll receive a certificate, mainly for your own record and confidence. More importantly, you’ll gain access to our online portal, where we share gig opportunities from our partners. Some partners even work exclusively with our trainees, so you’ll be invited to be part of that network.
In addition, you’ll receive a toolkit you can use at any gig, whether it comes through our portal or one you’ve arranged yourself.
